The course is intentionally designed for non-technical beginners, offering no-code content, relatable examples, diverse use cases, and a feminist lens to ensure accessibility and relevance to learners from varied backgrounds and industries.

In a world where AI is reshaping industries, understanding artificial intelligence is more crucial than ever. But AI isn’t just about automation and productivity, it’s also about empowering ourselves, taking control of the technology shaping our future, and ensuring it aligns with our values as women. This is an introductory course and the starting point in your AI literacy path.

• Real-world applications

• AI and ethics

SMART goals:

• Enable women and underrepresented individuals to build foundational AI literacy and understand the core concepts of AI.

• Correctly define and distinguish between AI, machine learning, and generative AI.

• Identify at least 3 real-world applications of AI in their field (e.g., marketing, education, healthcare).

• Recognize and describe 5 core AI ethics principles: transparency, fairness, privacy, safety, and accountability.

• Craft 2–3 effective prompts for generative AI tools like ChatGPT.

Learners will gain practical, ethical, and creative AI skills that they can directly apply to:

• Enhance their productivity and strategic thinking.

• Launch or grow their own businesses.

• Contribute to building more inclusive and bias-aware AI systems, an urgent gap in current tech development.
